Zermatt

Also very touristy, like Grindelwald. Somehow I felt it was more touristy, though.

Gornergrat - Riffelsee - Riffelalp

It's an OK trail. There's a train that runs alongside it, and you can get on and off as you please. It's very rocky and barren terrain, which is somewhat interesting. You get to see the Matterhorn in all it's glory here.

Zermatt - Platterhorn (Nr. 33)

This is a brutal but brilliant hike. It takes you from the valley where Zermatt sits, right up to the glaciers on the path to the Platterhorn. Along the way you pass by forests, alpine meadows, exposed rock, and more. It takes 8-9 hours for most people - 5 up, 4 down. So be prepared, and go early, and come with spikes or crampons for the glacier. Trekking poles are also highly recommended.
